How Scheduled Downgrades Work in WeSendit®
What Is a Scheduled Downgrade?
A scheduled downgrade allows you to switch to a lower subscription plan at the end of your current billing period.
Your current plan and all included features remain active until the effective downgrade date. No functionality is removed immediately.
Example:
Current Plan: FM Premium
New Plan: FS Plus
Effective Date: June 30, 2026
Until June 30, 2026, you can continue using all features included in FM Premium. On June 30, 2026, your account will automatically be moved to FS Plus.
Why Am I Seeing a Downgrade Notice?
When a downgrade has been scheduled, WeSendit® displays a notification in your account to keep you informed about the upcoming change.
Example message:
"Your downgrade to FS Plus is scheduled and will take effect on June 30, 2026."
This allows you sufficient time to review your storage usage and prepare for the plan change.
What Happens When the Downgrade Takes Effect?
Once the downgrade date is reached:
Your subscription is changed automatically.
Features that are not included in the new plan become unavailable.
Your storage quota is adjusted according to the new plan.
Future billing follows the pricing of the new subscription.
No action is required if your account already meets the storage requirements of the new plan.
Can I Cancel a Scheduled Downgrade?
Yes.
As long as the downgrade has not yet taken effect, you can manage your subscription settings and choose a different plan.
Once the downgrade has been processed, the new plan becomes active and standard subscription rules apply.
